Eyelashes grow downwards due to the direction of the hair follicles on the eyelids. The follicles are angled in a way that causes the lashes to grow in a downward direction. Additionally, the growth cycle of eyelashes, which includes phases of growth, transition, and shedding, also contributes to their downward growth pattern. This bending allows the tomato plant to grow towards the ground, where it can access water and nutrients more easily. Additionally, bending downwards helps the tomato plant to support the weight of its fruit as it grows. **

Additionally, if the natural nail underneath the gel is weak or damaged, it can cause the gel nails to bend downwards. **
